Question: Does getting a tattoo hurt?

Pain levels vary from person to person and depend on the location and size of the tattoo. Some areas, such as the bone (elbow, knee ete.) or sensitive areas, may be more painful than others. However, many people describe the sensation as manageable and liken it to a constant scratching or slight burning feeling.

Question: Can I bring my own design?

Yes, most tattoo artists are open to working with your custom design. They can help refine and optimize it to look its best on the skin.

Question: Is there an age requirement for getting a tattoo?

The legal age to get a tattoo in Worcester is 18. Forbidden Imprint will not allow any tattoos preformed on minor's. 

Question: How long does it take for a tattoo to heal?

The healing time can vary, but typically it takes 2 to 4 weeks for a tattoo to heal completely. During this time, you should follow the aftercare instructions provided by your artist to ensure proper healing and preserve the quality of the tattoo.

Question: Can I get a tattoo if I have allergies or sensitive skin?

If you have allergies or sensitive skin, it's essential to inform your tattoo artist beforehand. That way they can take extra precautions to minimize the risk of any adverse reactions.

Question: Can I get an allergy from inks, and wouldn't know it??​

Yes, You can have an allergy to certain colors and there is no way to tell before hand. It is no ones fault, however we can tell you what to do if you develop an allergy. We recommend if you do, letting us know ASAP!

Question: Can I receive a cover up a tattoo if I don't like it later?

Yes, tattoos can be covered up if the existing tattoo is healed. Discussing Cover up Ideas with your artist is the most coinvent way to have a successful cover up

Question: Can I go swimming after getting a new tattoo?

It's generally recommended to avoid swimming, soaking, or exposing your new tattoo to excessive moisture during the healing process. Prolonged water exposure can interfere with the healing and increase the risk of infection. 

 Question: What is your shop prices?​

Forbidden Imprint's Shop Minimum is 150.00. We based pieces based off location, size, and detail. We recommended calling or sending an email about your inquiries. 

Question: Is an ID required to get a tattoo?

Yes, You would need an ID or a passport that shows DOB.

Question: Do we use numbing cream?

We do in certain scenarios. We do not recommend numbing cream for everyone due to affects on the skin as well as we want our clients to have a tolerance to the sensation in case they plan to go to other parlors that don't have it.
